INARUWA, MAY 29 -

Activists of the main opposition party UCPN (Maoist) on Saturday publicised the party's "people's constitution" in Sunsari district headquarters Inaruwa.

The Maoists declared their version of statute from the streets at Shantichowk in Inaruwa on the occasion of Rupublic Day.

Maoist leaders, addressing the mass assembly, said that they resorted to declare the statute from the streets as the other political parties were not serious over the constitution-writing.

On the occasion, Maoist Sunsari district Incharge Mukesh read out the 100-page statue with 19 clauses and 219 sub-clauses.

Maoist leaders including central member Prahlad Budathoki, district secretary Nirmal Baral, among others were present at the announcement.
