Unified CPN (M) is all set to make public on Saturday its action plan for the integration and rehabilitation of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) combatants which is very crucial for success of the ongoing peace process.

A meeting of the Maoist officials held in the party headquarters in Paris Danda, Koteshwor, Friday finalized the integration action plan in a bid to garner support from parties to form new consensus government under the party leadership. The Maoists have come up with a concrete action plan on the peace process following mounting pressure from Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML to implement the first point of the three-point pact signed by three big at May 28 midnight.

UCPN (M) vice-chair Narayankaji Shrestha told mediapersons after the meeting that the clear-cut plan including issues of returning captured properties, disbanding of YCL structure among others will be unveiled tomorrow.

Also, the meeting rubbished out the widespread secret agreement between the Maoist strongman Prachanda and Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal before the latter’s resignatgion and dubbed it as baseless. The meeting has further decided to intensify discussions with other parties for their backing to constitute the Maoist-led unity government.
