SINDHUPALCHOWK, JUN 07 - UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ returned to the capital on Monday, saying that the government invited him.
Talking briefly to local journalists before his departure from Sindhupalchowk, the Maoist chairman said he has received indication that the political deadlock would come to an end.
The Maoist chairman, who arrived here in the western region of the district, Kakani, at Palchowk VDC last evening, returned to the capital this morning after addressing the party cadres.
"I am returning as I have been called by the government," Dahal said adding, "There is the possibility of resolving the crisis."
Also on the occasion, Dahal claimed that the present government will not sustain more days and that there is no alternative to implementing the three-point pact.
Prachanda, who often times in his address dub the current UML-led government as a puppet of foreigners, remarked that there is third force other than Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML behind the delay in the implementation of the three-point deal. Dahal hinted at the southern neighbour for the delay.
Indian misconception
Earlier today, Dahal, at a secret training class to the party cadres. said India has put his party in a difficult situation.
According to a Maoist leader present at the training session, India has misunderstood the Maoists thinking that we are against Indian.
Dahal said the Maoists will introduce a new programme to mobilise the party cadres, saying that the party is not weak. He added that the agitation launched immediately after stepping down from the government would make the Maoist stronger.
Accompanied by his family members and Maoist leader Agni Sapkota , the Maoist chairman arriver here on Sunday evening.
Party source said Dahal came here on a private visit for rest.
